Party Presets and Types - Getting Started
Overview
The TLGM Party System helps you organize and manage groups efficiently. It consists of three main features:
- Party Types - Templates that define what roles and weapons a party should have
- Party Presets - Collections of party types for different activities
- Automatic Party Assignment - Smart system that places players in appropriate groups
Party Types
Party types are the building blocks of your group organization. They define what roles and weapons you want in a specific group.
What is a Party Type?
- A template for a single party (up to 6 members)
- Defines required roles (Tank, Healer, DPS)
- Specifies preferred weapon combinations for each role
- Helps ensure balanced group composition
Creating Party Types
- Give your party type a descriptive name (e.g., "PvP Point Control")
- Add roles in order of priority
- For each role:
- Select role type (Tank, Healer, or DPS)
- Configure weapon preferences (up to 3 combinations)
- Arrange roles in your preferred order using drag and drop
Setting Weapon Preferences
Each role can have up to 3 weapon combinations. Available weapons include:
- Sword and Shield
- Greatsword
- Daggers
- Crossbow
- Bow
- Staff
- Wand and Tome
- Spear
To set preferences:
- Click "Add Weapon Preference" for a role
- Select a primary weapon
- Select a secondary weapon
- Add additional combinations if needed
- Order preferences by importance
Example Party Types
- Point Control:
- Tank (Templar: Sword and Shield + Wand and Tome)
- Healer (Invocator: Staff + Wand and Tome)
- 3 DPS (Sentinel/Infiltrator combinations)
- 1 Flex DPS (based on need)
- Backline Harassment:
- Tank (Crusader: Greatsword + Sword and Shield)
- 2 Healers (Invocator: Staff + Wand and Tome)
- 3 DPS (Infiltrator/Scorpion: focus on mobility)
- World Boss:

Party Presets
Party presets help you manage multiple groups for larger-scale PvP activities.
What is a Party Preset?
- A collection of party types for different roles in large-scale combat
- Used to automatically create multiple balanced groups
- Can include up to 50 different party types
- Perfect for organizing territory control groups
Using Party Presets
- Create a preset with a clear name (e.g., "Territory Defense")
- Add party types in order of priority
- Assign the preset to activities
- Let the system automatically organize players
Common Use Cases
- Territory Control: Mix of point control and roaming groups
- World Boss Events: PvE-focused groups with specific weapon requirements
