Static Party Types
Learn how to set up and manage static party types for permanent party formations in Throne and Liberty.
Static Party Types
Static Party Types allow you to create permanent party formations that persist across multiple activities. These are ideal for regular groups or fixed teams.
Party Type Assignment Rules
- Each activity creates exactly one party per party type.
- Multiple static parties cannot be assigned to the same party type in an activity.
- Static parties are assigned to the first matching party type in the preset.
- Only one static party can be assigned per type.
Setting Up Static Party Types
- Create unique party types for each static party.
- Assign a unique primary party type to each static party.
- Add backup types for flexibility (order matters).
- Save your configuration.
Example Configuration
Best Practices
- Use unique names for primary party types (e.g., "Raid Team A", "Raid Team B").
- Put the unique party type first in your static party configuration.
- Add shared/generic types as backups.
- Create activity presets that match your static party structure.
Common Pitfalls
- Do not assign the same primary type to multiple static parties.
- Only one party will be assigned to a given type per activity.
Step-by-Step Setup
- Create unique party types in the Party Types tab.
- Set up your static party and assign members.
- Configure party types (unique primary, then backups).
- Verify your setup and test with an activity.
Limitations
- Each party type in an activity can only have one party assigned.
- Static parties must have unique primary types to guarantee assignment.
- Maximum of 6 members per static party.
- Members can only be in one static party at a time.
- Subguild party types are prioritized over guild party types.
Troubleshooting
- Check that no other static party uses the same primary type.
- Confirm your party type is included in the activity preset.
- Validate static party setup and member roles.
- Create unique party types for each static if needed.
